Katz Deli – Jewish diner style sandwiches – Pastrami on Rye is the staple – This is where When Harry Met Sally’s famous, “I’ll have what she’s having” line was filmed!

Mr Purple – Rooftop bar – views of downtown & midtown including the Empire State Building. Heading up for a quick drink during a clear day is ideal for photos unless you’re up for a boozy session where this venue is a great starting place, avoid the lines later on peak weekend nights! The bar is located at the top of the Hotel Indigo.

The alternative to Mr Purple or to be done in conjunction with a slice of Slice Pizza in between is The Roof at Public Hotel, fantastic views north & south, perfect for sunset or just to be seen at one of NYC’s newest rooftops!

Brooklyn Bridge – walk over the bridge to Brooklyn/Dumbo & if you’re up for it you could start on the Downtown Tour’s landmarks & continue over the bridge.

Dumbo – Washington/Water St for your iconic photo of the Manhattan Bridge between the buildings.

Dumbo – Jane’s Carousel or newly opened L&B Spumoni Gardens pizza, this will save the hour-long ride to its birthplace in Gravesend for one of Brooklyn’s most famous traditional pizza pies! 46 Old Fulton St.

Brooklyn Brewery – beer tasting & tour.

Wythe Hotel – Ides Bar, East River view of Manhattan.

East River Ferry – With stops along the East River at Williamsburg, Greenpoint, its worth taking this for the sightseeing opportunity. Stopping at Greenpoint can be an excuse for a beer on The Brooklyn Barge, a floating bar on the East River.

Coney Island – Nathan’s Hotdogs, Cyclone/Luna Park, beach boardwalk.
